Level Trust Uniform Shop

The Connolly Foundation is funding Level Trust’s new Uniform Exchange, which is opened in The Mall, Luton in August 2017. An official opening took place in November 2017.

Level Trust specialises in helping children from Luton homes that are struggling with the costs of school. All families are welcome to use the Uniform Exchange as a way to sustainably recycle and reuse their school uniform alongside helping to manage their household budgets.

Families can access the exchange by bringing in school uniform they have finished with and swapping it for school uniform they need. Families who have nothing to swap can be referred to Level Trust to receive full school uniform for free using their gift card system.

There is also a shoe and coat gift card scheme for a specific value.

Level Trust is a Luton community group who believe poverty shouldn’t stop children from loving to learn.

It was started by a group of local volunteers who cared deeply about the people of Luton and wanted to do something to support the 14,000 children and young people who live below the poverty line in the town.

As well as the Uniform Exchange, the Trust also provides learning resource packs for both four-year-olds and GCSE students and free summer activities for 8 – 12 year olds.
