Education

A main aim of the Connolly Foundation is to give meaningful assistance to those in need, especially helping young people acquire new skills and qualifications.

Thanks to the Foundation many young people with talent and the drive are being helped in schools, colleges and universities across Bedfordshire to achieve this.  Students can apply for both Excellence and Discretionary Awards.

Some of the donations are given directly to the students, some via the schools, colleges and university and some in partnership with other charitable trusts

Recent donations given by the Connolly Foundation include bursaries for students at Cardinal Newman Catholic School in Luton and Biddenham International School, money for new sports facilities at Mark Rutherford School in Bedford and bursaries for apprenticeships at both Redborne Upper School and Bedford College.
